ISOBEL POWER SMITH

PRODUCTION DESIGN, ART DIRECTION & ILLUSTRATION
ABOUT
I am a London-based production designer, art director and illustrator working across film, TV, theatre, live events and brand activation, in both physical and digital spaces.
I trained at RADA, Warwick University and Wimbledon College of Art, and have a background in traditional theatre design, prop making and hand drawing which still informs my work today.
With over a decade’s experience in the industry, I have worked with an eclectic range of organisations including: The British Library, The National Trust, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Maison Margiela, the BBC, Sky Cinema, Le Meridien hotels, The Wellcome Trust, ESPN, The National Gallery, John Lewis, the Marlowe theatre, the Arcola theatre, RADA and Action for Children.
An episode of CBBC’s “The Dengineers” that I was pivotally involved in the art direction of won a BAFTA for factual entertainment in 2019.
When not on set or drawing I enjoy outdoor pursuits and nature writing.
